Hunger & Society's responsibility

Do something! Too many of us go hungry day to day, it's not always a choice, Sometimes we just don't know where to find support in our local community. Some just forget... As is often the case with myself.. I've gone without eating for much of the day many times, not sure if it's stress/depression or being in my flow when I'm feeling up.. but I'd gander to say a big part of the problem is information.. there are ways to not go hungry, it's just finding the right information, either by man power (starting your own garden farm or otherwise) or finding a local food bank. I imagine one thing holding back is either society or cultural, maybe a bit of both, maybe it's just an American thing, but.. Pride and Shame.. but please, stop right there if you are hungry. There is nothing wrong with you for being hungry, and there is nothing wrong with needing to ask for help when needed, especially when hungry or thirsty. No good person will turn down that request. Start with a friend or family member, they are your biggest supporter, even of things are bad with them because of some other drama unrelated, food will bring you together, bread the bread. If those bridges are burned.. the next good community is your local religious groups, go say hello to a church member and ask for food, yes, you will question your faith, and that's ok, it's good to question, have that conversation, if you don't believe in their beliefs, they won't decline food or hospitality, they will assist and redirect the conversation at a point, and that's ok, we don't all agree on belief, but we do all hunger and don't want to see others needlessly suffer. There is so much more to say on this topic, but I'll leave with this for now : https://www.foodpantries.org/st/california
