"if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"... Maybe that kind of explains a lack of posting regularly on my part. It's not that I'm in a negative mindspace, things are going pretty well for me right now. I feel a larger part of it's all the FUD and trash talking online. I do want to distance a bit from all the negative I read in the news. I've always enjoyed consuming a fair chunk of "news", of which hardly much qualifies these days,blogs are almost the best source, but very few that blog want to talk about real life topics. I suspect most are afraid of putting someone off because they may not agree with X Y or Z opinion on a topic... which brings me to blog posts, which are opinion pieces, which makes them easier to read because you know there are maybe some facts in there, and can likely pick those out of the heaping pile of advertising and marketing in the blog post, of which most are because people want to monetize there blogs. Like steem... People are even more afraid to rattle the chains here, because of this new down vote button.. but isnt it possible to talk about something you may not agree with without saying negative shit? Absolutely, by the author separating the facts from their own opinions.. of which many casual users of a platform don't want to spend the energy doing themselves as writers don't bother. Something about spoons and energy vampires the casuals will say if you ask.
With life getting easier day to day as a species, so does the game as a whole get more, casual. Words, pictures, things & such... They are all connected, if you just connect some dots.
